Overview: Deendayal Upadhay Swayam Yojana, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Mr. Devendra Fadnavis has launched the implementation of a new yojana for students. The main objective of this scheme is to provide hostel and food facilities to tribal and poor students for their studies and to make Maharashtra more developed. For those students who wants to continue their study but they are unable to proceed due to some issue like financial problem and family support. Then, government will provide financial assistance to those students to make their future in safe hand in his own hands. It will increase the number of education people or graph will increase in the future and output will be impressive. To support the tribal students who are really hungry for knowledge and want to become self dependent.
The scheme was announced by the chief minister of Maharashtra along with two other initiatives to raise the education level in the state. The main aim of Deendayal Upadhay Swayam Yojana is to financially help the tribal students in their studies to make bright future and take responsibility.
- Permanent resident of the State of Maharashtra
- Candidate must be secure at least 60% marks in aggregate in the preceding examination conducted by the Board/University
- The courses of study should be a regular course other than a technical and vocational course, in a recognized institution
- He/she is not employed in any capacity under the Government
